Performing Arts Teacher (12 hours per week)
Active Lives Education - Stoke-on-Trent and Stafford
£10 - £12 an hour - Part-time

We aim to inspire children and adults to live healthy, physically Active Lives.
We provide a range of services to schools including curriculum based Physical Education and enrichment activities to Schools including the delivery of Sports and Performing Arts.
We also provide activities for children and adults within local communities. You will be expected to prepare, plan and deliver schemes of work and also regularly attend internally and externally provided CPD.
Experience in delivering performing arts activities to children/ adults with relevant qualifications ie. IDTA, NDTA etc.
Up-to date First Aid and safeguarding qualifications.
A clear enhanced DBS Check.
A passion for Physical Activity and an ability to motivate and inspire children.
Ability to develop a positive learning environment.
Experience and understanding of child development and appropriate teaching and coaching methods.
Knowledge of the National Curriculum for Physical Education.
Ability to work on one's own initiative and as part of a team.
Willingness to work unsocial working hours.
Full UK driving license and own method of travel.
Achieved or working towards an IDTA diploma or equivalent.Achieved or working towards and undergraduate degree in a relevant field.
